He starts off sounding a little glib to me...describing a horrific event but with little real emotional connectedness to what he supposedly witnessed or experienced. When he "gets upset", to me he goes through all the motions of being upset but his eyes do not water nor do they take on the appearance of someone who had just cried. (The eyes will get watery all around...not just the tear ducts.)

At one point he even squeezes his eyes together tight for a moment. It seemed he was trying to force some tears out. When he wiped his eyes, no tears or water were visible on the sides. When he realized that there were no tears visible, he seemed to compensate/adjust by continuing to wipe his eyes more and more as if to say, "I'm crying. I wouldn't be wiping my eyes this much if I wasn't." He did get a little snifflely, but he doesn't appear to have been able to sell it all the way.

Maybe the guy's tear ducts are clogged. In any case, something very wrong there. That's my take on it.

I have to be honest - I think the guy is acting. If he really was choked up like that, there would have been tears in his eyes. Why does he keep rubbing his eyes like there are tears there, but they are completely dry? Something about it does not ring true. Just my inner intuition.

When was this filmed? The closer to the event the more likely I am to believe him...but if it was filmed last year or a week ago...recently...then I'd be more inclined to disbelieve his authenticity.
