The WTC was a Plane Crash Investigation Site and the huge Crime Scene of a Mass Murder (supposedly).

I guess the logical thing to do immediately afterward is to call for 120 dump trucks to start hauling stuff (bodies? evidence?) away.

are we sure the first 1/2 to 2/3rds of that clip actually come from 9/11? there is an edit/cut and then the 9/11 burning towers footage is seen, so its not clear if the 2 clips come from the same day or time period.

22205: Someone posted in the comments on youtube that it could stand for New York City Housing Authority....I'll admit, if this is true, I have absolutely NO IDEA how HA could "legally" have dump trucks.

Very true. Hunting down the original un-cut would be the only way to know for sure. But if this was obtained via FOIA, then it'll just go down as a mystery probably....seeing how they have edited/spliced every single video they have released.

either that, or the youtube poster could have done it (tho i am NOT saying that he/she did). i recall another piece of footage, that of a smoking tunnel spewing smoke that supposedly came from this foia batch, but ended up being from the 93 bombing. again, in that example its unclear who the actual source of the footage was/is. unless someone obtains their own stack of dvds directly from nist or some other "official entity", there is no chain of custody, so its unclear what's what and from whom.

i have to tell you though, as an amateur videographer - the earlier part of the clip looks too sharp/crisp and imo seems to come from a newer camera as opposed to what was widely available to joepublic in 2001...

note: the video (from the o.p.) we see was filmed during the day, so it doesnt match the claims made above. but its possible that the videographer caught the convoy earlier in the day (on 9/11) as they were heading to the scene - though i still feel that the footage looks "new" to me.

anyway, regardless of the question about the authenticity of video's claims, we (more importantly) have confirmed information that asserts that NYCHA was indeed involved in the removal of debris.


eta: after re-examining the content of the vid further, i believe it is very likely this video probably does come from 9/11 or some time very close to it.

can anyone pinpoint the street they are driving on the wrong side of? i see east houston street, but can anyone name any of the intersecting streets? what i'd like to figure out is where these trucks were headed - in relation to where ground zero was/is.
