NEIGHBORS - Le' Voisins

In a certain province, there was a King.

This king had two men who had been neighbors for quite a few years. The one neighbor had great land fenced, and within he had many sheep. Flowing grasses of green and soft and if he decided he would go out and lay in the field and talk with his sheep, it was a most soothing, calm land, and the sheep content and happy. The other neighbor was quite the opposite, he was never too be seen among the people and his home was very, very lowly lit. At night however, he made himself known but only to the sheep. He had secured a long string and had punched a hole in the top tip of a metal pan, inside the pan he placed hay and straw and sprinkled it ever so lightly, with a hint of powdery sugar and a very, very small tiny amount of Opium. He would take the pan, and each night he would push the pan with a broomstick as far as he could, while making secure the string and his ability to retrieve the pan. Days went by and in the beginning the sheep would not go near the pan, but after many days, they ventured over to investigate and about as many days, they began to taste and then eat the straw laced with very tiny amounts of Opium. Several weeks went by and the sheep continued their midnite snack and the man continued to increase very low amounts of the Opium and slowly decrease the type of straw to a lesser quality until soon it was but gathered weeds, but the sheep did not seem to notice nor care, and with each increase, he would edge the pan closer unto the fence. Finally, the sheep were close enough that the man placed his hand through the fence and would pet the sheep while they ate, as they soon began to trust this man whose hands were cold. He placed the pan now on the opposite side of the fence, and soon a sheep found his way through the fence, to which the man brought forth another pan, and gently slid the first pan back under the fence for the other sheep. He took his new friend into his home and killed him and devoured him. The other neighbor took notice that his sheep were no longer interested in the luscious green pasture and seemed to, instead of eat, they began to sleep most of the day. The man separated his sheep to the other side of his land, to the opposite side of his dark neighbor, and noticed they began to become sickly and would not eat. All the days and night following he would go out unto the stalls and fed his sheep, cow's milk warmed, and although they would vomit the ingredients for a few days, they began to look and eat much better, but he notice some of the sheep were venturing back unto the other side of his house. He would pull them back but a few would continue to try to stray to the other side. With all his known persuasion exhausted, he finally had to break and reset the leg of the straying sheep, and now they walked with a limp, and with each step they realized why they were not to stray back from their Master, and it was painful but for the well-being and life of the sheep.

"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors." Isaiah 53:6-12

Pain is a most horrible thing to endure and grief is the pain of the heart. Pain, however, and grief are essential in the life of the Christian, not only for identification but for the staying power of boundary against the evil we face on a daily basis. Boundaries must be set, that we might know they keep us from losing our rewards of service and from further disabling these bodies, which God has given unto us. Identification with the cross and with Christ, pain is ever the reminder of the cost of our salvation. It bears within that cost, the realization, that there is nothing within us worthy of life or eternal reward of salvation, for we like sheep have all gone astray. The cross, here on this present earth is God's banner over me and you for His love, an example we should hold unto the light for other sheep to see their way back unto the Good Shepherd of our souls. Christ was not willing that we should die and He came forth with restoration from the cross to the grave, and with His resurrection power, restoring us back unto the Father of our faith.

The day came when the King had before Him these two neighbors and upon asking the killer of the sheep why he would commit such an atrocious act of malcontent and murder, the man answered, "They came into my yard, therefore they belonged unto me to do whatsoever I desired unto them".

The King stated, "But you kind sir, did not purchase the sheep, your neighbor invested His life and His care unto the sheep, and what by any right do you have to take that which was not yours to begin with?"

To which the man replied, "They were in my yard and anything that was in my yard is mine, and I could care less about this pious man's attempt of ownership over these sheep, no one can own a living thing it is free to come and go as it chooses!"

"You seem rather bent upon your claim and how is it you have determined all things are free to move about as you deem necessary?" stated the King.

"I was once like unto himself, I had things and beauty and everyone admired me and I lived and dined within the light, but I did not have that "freedom" that I deserved and desired, you should know by which I speak of Ol' King for it was your decree that sent me into my boundaries of the dark!", came the reply of the dark neighbor.

"You then claim it is my fault that you are in your current bitter walk, so it had nothing to do with your hunger or the sheep?"

"Of course, it was your fault, you are the genius here, O' King, I was made to ramble the neighborhoods, until I found this present place of my abode, and as for these sheep I could care less, they are but the lowly filth they have always been, I mock their very nature", replied the dark.

"In essence then, you would prefer to not have your freedom or liberty of moving about, you would rather be under the command without question??"

"NO, exclaimed the dark, "I did not say that but if I did that is not what I meant, what I want is to be who I was but with the understanding I now possess."

"Let me see if I have this correct, you want the freedom to keep that of a non-command position, and to be able to do as you please?" stated the King.

"And they say you are not wise, but you are, that is precisely what I want and what I shall have, make no mistake, I remain my own man and I shall do that which I please!" cried forth the dark.

"Then you have the judgment within yourself, sir, as you would rather be a king to bring forth murder to anyone else's property or person with callous disregard for anyone else's ability to practice their own form of freedom, so what of your neighbor's sheep, what are you willing to do for the repayment unto your neighbor?" asked the King.

"I proclaimed you were wise, O'King, but now I see you are not, I have not the intent nor the desire to pay that piece of filth anything, I owe him nothing, but he owes me his very life, if I were his maker..." as the dark was speaking the King interrupted,

"But you see, dark, you stand before a King, and as far as I can tell, the King does not stand before you, all the things you want and desire you now possess and have, but the freedom to do as you please, creating chaos for all you come in contact with, that too was in your hand, but for a moment, and now by your own words is your judgment set, for evil is eternal with freedom, or did you not realize that, but others have chosen not your path but have chosen the good neighbor's path and are more than willing to give any freedom that they may possess unto Him, for He, it is, that has nothing but good for them and they have trusted His goodness rather than that of yours. Look about you dark, you want all you can see, but I dark, I am the one that Created it all, you had your creation and it was sin, but you must realize that the sheep have but a small amount of time, their days are allotted, but you were not so, as you have never tasted of death as do they, so you remain unfamiliar with their plight, this is why you have been limited in your walk, you had the chance once, but you wanted to go the way and that was away, you knew the warning that if you go, you could not get back. You knew the truth, you knew that you were Created but you twisted that truth for the sheep in declaring they were a product of chance and you tried to lower me to that of my Creation and by your own words you decried you did not want to return to your former state, but there were those who chose to stay, and in case you did not hear, let me say it more clearly twice, "they chose to stay" and now they are blessed eternally."

"Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities." Jude 3-8

We must realize that we are not our own that we have been purchased with a price and stand redeemed by the Lamb of God. There are those that are dark and they have two things in mind one of which is to keep you out of heaven, the other is to destroy any good that you might do and rob you of eternal reward. This same one that redeemed you is also the very same that chose you for He knows who they are of the dark, the dark always remain vigilant in their own choosing as they do the same in the politics or religions of the day, while they claim they want choice what they mean is they do not want you to have choice.

"No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me." John 6:44-45

"Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God." John 8:43-47

Before you became a Christian you did whatever you chose, you went to bars, ran with women/men, and you never gave it a thought about God or Christ only your desire-what changed? Why, now, are you a Christian? Did you just wake up one day and state, "You know, I think today I will become a Christian?" With all the women/men and drinking etc.., when did you have time to think this way, and if you did who gave you the time and the thought, are you really that smart, because if you are then you are not Christian but an impostor, the Bible states that you must be drawn of the Father and that no man can come to Christ without the Father, it is impossible, for God, you see, is the AUTHOR and FINISHER of our faith, and He that BEGAN a good work in YOU shall finish it. If you lay claims to you choosing God instead of Him choosing you, you are mocking God, proclaiming yourself a god, and denying the faith and hating the Word of God, be careful, little children, and make of yourself no idol.

For The "AMILLENNIALIST"

"And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen." 1John 5:20-21

"And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." John 8:35-36

ASK yourself this question, if we are in the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ (1,000 years) why then do we have teachers teaching the Word of God? The same verses that give priests also gives teachers, why? Why did not the disciples understand we were in the Millennial Reign and disobey the Word of God? Why did not the Holy Ghost understand it was the Millennial Reign, was it because He knew that that was not the truth? Why did no one inform God that man was going to continue teaching man/womankind in the Millennial Reign of Christ?

"And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." Acts 4:18-20

And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, Thou seest, brother, how many thousands of Jews there are which believe; and they are all zealous of the law:
"And they are informed of thee, that thou teachest all the Jews which are among the Gentiles to forsake Moses, saying that they ought not to circumcise their children, neither to walk after the customs." Acts 21:20-21

"Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." 1Corinthians 2:13-14

"And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues." 1Corinthians 12:29

"But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall ( "NOT" ) not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away." Hebrews 8:6-13
