Poems from the Pit
I will dedicate this section to poetry that was created in 1984 after many years of living in the insanity of my own creation. These was my method of catharsis for my soul to heal.
Agony
The days I lived in agony
were smoothed I thought by liquors drink.
I could not love, feel pain nor joy;
without a drink of booze, you know.
It is simple now I have given up
the drink that use to build me up.
Today I live with God in me
and found the chains of Self set free.
Today is Forever
Today is forever, the moment is now.
The love we were seeking now has been found.
How did it happen, I so blindly ignored;was the key to my faith that unlocked the closed doors.
Now that it's opened what next do I do?
Look inward for God, his love's within you!
