Why The Church Is Failing In Faith

Posted 10 Mar 2010 at 22:54 PM by spanner

I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8

Why is the Church struggling today?
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2Thessalonians 2:3

Future I have looked at the Constitution of the United States of America and I ask, Why do they not follow the words written by their founders? And I noticed the local cities, counties, states, federal and civil courts and they
had law upon law, rule upon rule, for some knew this is how you destroy a document, you confuse and make it more broad at the bottom or base with many add-ons so that the document is no longer clear and/or discernable.
I looked at the Church and there I found a problem and it could be the problem of the Constitution, I am not sure of the historic timeline as which came first but I am afraid it is probably the church. Satan knows that he cannot change the Word of God, the Bible because it is total 100% truth, but he could (Satan) however, make the base more broad as he knew the people were wanting to understand God's Word better and had a thirst therein. Satan being subtle and crafty chose not to try to destroy what God has set forth, perhaps he was taught that lesson at the cross, instead he gave the people more choice at the base or the everyday man/woman. Satan filled the bookstores with all kinds of Bibles varied with themes and colors/designs and everyday "common" language even to the slang of Rap the popular culture of the day. The church has within it: KJV, NKJV, ASV, NASB, ASB, NLT, LTV, RSV, NRSV, etc.., and these do not begin to be finished as many others line the shelves, a cornucopia of babble for the confusion of the beholder. Now, the new believer must ask a minister, or worse, a store owner which version is better, at this point many will jump off this page - good landing, it is not my intent to give a clarification or disclaimer of what I am writing, not my intent but it is a must - I do not care nor am I concerned with which version of the Bible you are reading, I could care less, this is not the purpose of this message but you be the judge. Sunday comes and the minister stands at his podium of delivery and the sitter in the bench opens his/her Bible and states among themselves, where is he reading from, mine does not state it that way, confusion enters the room and clarifications begin. Don't think so, what did your mind think when I started listed the different versions above? Now the language of change has occurred so that when someone reads the statement in:

Matthew 6:1-4 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

Now comes the problem of the word "alms" and the search begins both in the Greek and in the Hebrew and perhaps the Aramaic depending on what version of the Bible you are reading, want to see some confusion chase it down with the verse with all the versions when you reach your search you will not know whether it is good works, righteous acts, money or food, clothing etc.., and that brings up the problem of works being shown in front of men/women. Now you must hide your good works but you are in conflict with James 2:17-18 which states by your works you will have shown your faith and faith is not to be confused with belief as many are doing because of conflicted versions. When did man/womankind lose their ability in common sense? Works are viewed by men/women and there are those who wish to be seen and known, however, this particular "alms" is that which can be hidden and not seen by men/women and pertains to monies or clothing, food which can be given in secret by the one who desires not to be seen of man/woman. This being the case, then how could a person be seen by his/her giving of monies in the church and of course it is by check, charge or debit card etc., and how would they be open to all is of course, by way of the grapevine and by the way deacons "lift up" those givers in front of others and hold them in admiration by the amounts given, and do not think this can be avoided by the deacon as they have wives etc.., to whom they confer with and to withhold from the spouse sets up deception within the marriage which should not be. A problem now exists within the church and that is the "high" seat of honor which is not a seat but a place or a degree of honor and does such a one great disservice, as it robs him/her of their rewards in heaven. The same exists even for those whom give cash if they show their cash before men when placing within the offering plate. Can this be changed today in the church? NO, sadly it cannot, as ministers and the church have grown accustomed to receiving of tithes and offerings in a public-type forum as that of checks etc.., it should never have been started and the church should have operated on a cash only basis placed within an envelope provided by the church, so that those who wanted the reward of those tithes would actually be afforded that opportunity. Could they do so today, absolutely and a number of those givers do just that very thing and no one knows but the giver how much is given. What then is the problem? Deacons, leaders, teachers etc.., must be partakers of tithing within the church before elections to offices and without a count of the monies and tally of such at the end of the year, no one would know who that one is that is called a "faithful" tither even that name is a fallacy as God is the only "faithful" giver as He is the only one to whom faith is given to man/woman. You might well say a person is a "believing" tither and that would be correct, but no man can give faith, he/she may build upon their own faith but could never give faith, they may give words or preach of or by faith but they can never give faith that is what God does alone. So the one that is determinate to an office within the church is a tither by the world's standards but not by God's standards as that person whose tithes are known amongst the believers has that reward, especially so, when at the end of a year they claim it on their income taxes. When you think you are electing someone to an office who is faithful in all things as the Bible requires of leadership and offices, you could be totally wrong and that is for the most part why the church has received the proverbial "black" eye and why it is thrown up in one's face by the non-believer as, "I am better or as good as that deacon at blah-blah" they are making the same distinction perhaps as truth. Who then is that faithful Stewart whom the LORD will reward at His coming? They knew not what they have done as for the service of the LORD because the "church" trumpeted the wrong message and promoted the wrong "faithful" did Christ not state Himself that with the poor is great faith, but the poor are pushed down because of intellect, appearance, etc.., they have no gold ring, and are kept from the pulpit by men of degree who think themself the very image of God and that they, are but the wisdom of God may be hid from them, as the poor has no degree to fall back upon but has only his/her knee to bend down unto a Faithful Creator who stated "When I return, shall I find faith upon the earth?" Christ never stated shall He find believers upon the earth for the earth is filled with believers. Why are the sick not healed, why are the people going from one church to the other seeking to find the unmitigated Word of God, who are the elders of the faith are they not the ones that are lifted up among men and yet they know not the Word of God nor bend a humble knee to the Father of love and great mercies? The church is fallen stated Paul and those you mock and push aside with impunity they may just be saints whom God will say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant". Now about that version that is being written for men/women to understand better:

Matthew 13:11 And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
John 14:16-17 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever, [even] the Spirit of truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholdeth him not, neither knoweth him: ye know him; for he abideth with you, and shall be in you.
Matthew 16:11-12 How is it that ye do not perceive that I spake not to you concerning bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Then understood they that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Mark 4:9-15 And he said, Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parables. And he said unto them, Unto you is given the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest haply they should turn again, and it should be forgiven them. And he saith unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how shall ye know all the parables? The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, straightway cometh Satan, and taketh away the word which hath been sown in them.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?
Satan is very subtle at providing many, many choices for confusion while leading down that singular path of destruction, all Eve had to do is enter into a dialogue to better understand exactly what God did not state.

Problematic reasoning is found in the church(s) either because of knowledge, fear of intimidation, or the worst reason - deception. For the church sake I hope it is the lack of knowledge as fear is eliminated with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. This borders on the edge of conspiratorial declaration within the church and may it not be so in the house of God.
