Doin' My Thing, Will Not Bother You'n'Yours

Woe unto them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. Jude 11
The amazing thing about Lot, the Nephew of Abraham, is that even knowing the Word of God stands true, and it is sure to come to pass, Lot did not want to leave Sodom and had to be forced to leave by the angels, the angels had to literally take the hand of Lot and his family to "force" them to leave, and I am afraid this is the case of many Christians in this day and age. Many Christians today have a problem both with God/Christ and their fellow man/brother and do not want to commit unto change. Now, Lot was not righteous in and of himself, but was made righteous because of the Near Kinsman Redeemer, whom in this case was that of Abraham, who did obey and chose to follow after the commands of God. Man/womankind want to live good and at peace but that is the extent of the distance they want to travel, but they forget that what is good for you, may and probably is not what the "other" person desires, for desire is born in the hearts of man, some want little, some want much, some want what the other man/woman has without working for the same. Why do Christians have such a hard time communicating the gospel or the good news with others? Is it because of the way communication is presented? What do you desire of your fellow man/woman? Is that the same thing God desires or is it your own perspective and "good" name you are trying to capture of the other person?

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities. Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: 2 Peter 2:1-14
If I do nothing, that effects and affects only me, no one else, is this your plea, then you choose to be a rock or an island? In this you are wrong and could not be farther from the truth, when you choose your own path and your own way to attain that path, you go 100% against God, no man is his/her own you were bought with a price, if you were indeed bought and you gave everything unto Christ, that is you surrendered your entirety unto the LORD. However, now many Christians have returned unto the altar of God, if you will, and slowly take up those things that in the beginning they had laid down, and now they once again lay claim unto that very thing they once found so wretched so deplorable.

For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; God is witness: Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor yet of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Christ. 1 Thessalonians 2:3-6
Why are you in Christianity, what is your purpose? Do you have a desire for people to behold you and state, "He/she is a wise person and they do good", is this what you are trying to attain or do you go the extra distance to want to please God thus Christ, if indeed you do, then you are a rarity among people, but is this your goal or is this venture to hard for you to accomplish, when you are weighed in the balance of Christ, are you found wanting?

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. James 1:21-26
But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be. James 3:8-10
If you had been the same age you are today, but it was 25 years ago, what would your priorities be then, would they have been to support the political agenda of the day, to better one's self by better education or vocation? As a Christian your view and your agenda should be the same irregardless, of the religious fervor or zeal of those around you or that which they feel much passion about. Suppose for example, the year was 32 and 9 months AD, and shortly the Savior would be crucified and you have heard and been approach by the Romans claiming this man is trying to upstage Rome and take away all the women we adore and our entire way of life, and then you were approached by the Jew and they laid claims to the same destruction of the way of life and beyond that He calls Himself, God, of all things which is against the Holy command. Then one of the disciples came unto you and stated, "I tell you, this Jesus is the Messiah, His words move us inside, differently than we have ever felt, He makes us seem, "clean" you know, like we have not sin", and then it occurs, Christ is delivered unto the cross and it is finished, the year now is 69AD and rumour has it that the Romans are planning to destroy Jerusalem and disperse and kill those whom believe in this false Messiah. Now you remember, was that not what He stated was going to happen, and now it is coming, do you take up arms because you cannot stand idle during this time, if you defy the Romans they will kill you, if you defy the Jewish sect they will kill you, so what then do you do? Here we are 2000 years later, and we have the same problem, what do you do, do you fight for God and country on behalf of the conservative or the liberal? What did Christ state about these times we live within, did He not tell us that if we turned to our own ways and begin to live under our own dictates, that judgment would come? Would Christ be correct in judging you for what you are doing on a daily basis or would you have anything to apologize for?

These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. Revelation 14:4-5
Can you proclaim that as these that are found to be pure in the sight of God, can you go before the LORD and proclaim, "LORD, I am not near as pure as these are to be, but God I am seriously surrendering and committing my life unto you that you can change those things that I cannot but I will call out daily unto you, until a change takes place, I do not know the direction you want me to take in this day and in this season, but I will seek you on behalf of what you would desire and lead me into as I know there are many, many that do not know you and are in a valley of decision"

As Christ stated that these stones will not stand one upon another, and so it was, the same God stated:
And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village. Luke 9:54-56
Christ could destroy any opposition of any man/womankind irregardless, of their weaponry or their vain imaginations of Science so-called, but is this in His plan, do you know what He has planned, the disciples thought to destroy by fire, but Christ stated He came to save, has He changed His direction or is the plan the same as it was in 33AD? What then is your prime objective, in my best star trekky is it to acknowledge the wrongs and the rights of the World or do you think men/women are not aware of that and must be told? Was Joseph not in the second in command of Egypt, was not Daniel not the third ruler in Babylon, has God left the world without a lawgiver? "The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be."Genesis 49:10 Taxes are levied upon the people because the people have not rendered unto God that which is God's that is your soul and that which you bear witness of unto others, your character, your faith, your testimony and your witness and if there be anything else it is included also for you are not your own but are bought with a price.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 2 Peter 3:10-11
Ask, and see, would Christ have the same manner of conversation as you, if not, are you not called to be Christlike are you not in the image of Christ?

The anger of the LORD hath divided them; he will no more regard them: they respected not the persons of the priests, they favoured not the elders. As for us, our eyes as yet failed for our vain help: in our watching we have watched for a nation that could not save us. They hunt our steps, that we cannot go in our streets: our end is near, our days are fulfilled; for our end is come. Lamentations 4:16-18
America is the only Nation to fill this ticket, America is to be removed in some fashion or form as she is no longer found and in vain Israel has looked for that Nation, that would save her but could not, they have watched for her but in vain, they have turned their eyes unto a Nation and not unto God their Creator and protector.

Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour. Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. Romans 13:1-8
But in time of distress upon the nations, what manner of people ought you to be? You are taxed because of the King and because you would not render unto God that which is Gods, YOU!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Humble - Pray - Seek - Turn - Hear - Forgive - Heal

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. James 4:2-4
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
