I awoke today to the news that the United States Supreme Court upheld the most egregious sections of the so-called Obamacare.

“The Affordable Care Act describes the payment as a ‘penalty,’ not a ‘tax.’ That label cannot control whether the payment is a tax for purposes of the Constitution, but it does determine the application of the Anti-Injunction Act. The Anti-Injunction Act therefore does not bar this suit.”

In my younger,wilder years, I guess I would consider myself an anarchist. Who needs a government,right?

You might think that with a totally unlawful and out of control government, I would be even more so. But, being older and more experienced,(don't know much about wisdom) I see the wisdom and necessity of at least a minimal form of government to ensure the peace of communities.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said that the individual health insurance mandates included in every health reform bill, which require Americans to have insurance, were “like paying taxes.” He added that Congress has “broad authority” to force Americans to purchase other things as well, so long as it was trying to promote “the general welfare.”

Congressman Dennis Kucinich used this same excuse in a reply to my question to him regarding this.

It feels like we live in a complicated world, doesn't it? Knowledge is increasing at such a pace that no one can keep up with whatever the new reality may be.

The average person has been programmed to believe that he can't be sure of anything,even his own existence!

Our daily lives are run by "experts" who tell us how to live, because,apparently, we don't know for ourselves anymore. Unhappy? For a large fee, a psychologist will tell you why.
