You quoting thise sentences out of context is just as bad as church heirachy pulling selected verses contextually out of sync, out of their butts to make some lame point, which has in the main ZIP to do with the entire context.

Perhaps, as you quite obviously have NO CLUE as to what was meant BY them, you could perhaps explain WHY you produced them?

The way I see it, ANYONE choosing to stick their head into a debate, should cover the content and answer Q's asked. I HAVE DONE THAT, but it seems no one else has. Debate is supposed to be Point made, rebuttle to point made, and not diversion of point or avoidance OF point, then other tangents off again, to take it even further off track.

The quote I posted earlier, actuallly SHOWS the reality. "Faith is a cop-out. If the only way you can accept an assertion is by faith, then you are conceding that it can’t be taken on its own merits

Unlocked. Everyone please follow good manners and basic common sense when posting here. State things as your opinion, and when saying something you think overthrows the others faith or philosophy, provide the reason for YOUR beliefs in why it does so. i.e provide links to your own evidence, proofs, etc... This goes for EVERYONE who wishes to become involved in this discussion/debate.

2. Which versions of the bible are your chosen "WORD OF god"? NIV? KJV? Which one?

3. Why do you determine THAT version to be the RIGHT one?

4.. As you appear to be big on the "truth" angle (hence pipping in, in the first place), please give definition of what you personally assume "truth" and also "absolute truth" to be? (if they are two different things to you, please define BOTH)

For you to understand my faith, you would have to know everything I know, all my experiences and my thoughts concerning them. That is where my faith comes from, not from reading a book, or hearing some fanciful tale that captured my imagination.
In other words, my faith is anything but simple, and nowhere near as absolute as you seem to believe.

Not necessarily playing cat and mouse, trueblue. If however people make claims of certain "truths" then it is plausible to expect where they are coming from and what determines their "truth".

You BTW still have not explained why you decided to crop certain jung quotes, in (for what?) effort to make some point! What POINT was it you were determing to make? YOU are the one who "put them out there" after all!

As to not knowing everything you claim to know. Certainly, I accept that, however considering your first myth for ...hmm... how many years???/then "truth" alleged revelation...it could ONLY have come from the taught concept, coupled with certain life experience (ie low ebb) TO decide to "believe",
