What strikes me as extraordinary is the amount of identical/similar surnames of employees allegedly working at Cantor Fitzgerald. Moreover, I wonder, just how common is it for pairs of brothers/sisters/cousins to clinch a plum job (and work in the same offices) of a top-notch NY financial company? Out of the approx 360 names listed, we may find as many as 24 groupings of identical surnames (totalling 58 employees). Note that there are such groupings for almost every single letter of the alphabet in the Cantor Fitzgerald 'victim lists'.

Very interesting observation concerning same/similar last names for employees allegedly working for CANTOR FITZGERALD.

SSDI Results

I searched the SSDI for these victims. I search for the month of September 2001 (no specific day) and the last name without the first name. For common last names I use the first letter of the first name and a wildcard *. For example, Robert Smith would be searched as SMITH R*

From these 58 names, only 7 are listed in the SSDI (12%).

In they are listed in the SSDI, I list their SSN# and age at death. Otherwise, I wrote “no SSDI”.


Victims Compensation Fund (VCF) Results

From these 58 names, only 42 are listed in the SSDI (72%).

If they are in the VCF, I list VCF. If they are not in the VCF, I left it blank.

Summary: Based on the extremely low number of SSDI listings and very low number of VCF listings, these multiple name pairs for Cantor Fitzgerald "employees" are extremely suspicious. It looks like many of these victims are fakes.

Guys, I agree that there is LOTS to learn about the alleged victims and I suspect that, consonant with the plan of "Operation Northwoods" (whaddya bet Poppy Bush helped develop THAT plot?) many are probably made-up, non-existent people.

For what it might be worth, I was personally, not intimately (he was the divorced Dad of one of my daughter's classmates) (I have since become well-acquainted with his second cousin, their grandfathers were brothers, who looks a lot like him) acquainted with one Cantor Fitzgerald employee, alleged to have died on 9/11, and I am convinced he did.

That would be Joseph Riverso, late 30s, graduate of Cardinal Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York, ex-husband of Jodie and father of Danielle.

Garnet Edward Bailey, born Saskatchewan Canada 1948, flight 175, director of pro scouting for LA Kings, won 4 Stanley Cups as NHL player with 5 or 6 different teams. Had to have been a millionaire. Lived in Mass. at time of (purported) death. Maybe he's in Paraguay.
