Aspartame designed to lower human immunity?

Aspartame was originally created in research to find a drug which would have as one of its main effects the suppression of the human immune system.

One of the immune systems first and most important lines of defense is the powerful hydrochloric acid in our stomachs. Virtually everything which gets swallowed is destroyed by hydrochloric acid, including many if not most infectious bacteria and viruses.

The creators of Aspartame admit that when they discovered Aspartame,
were studying phenylalanine-secreting bowel bacteria because phenylalanine has the effect of suppressing stomach acid levels.

Anything which suppress stomach acid levels has the effect of leaving us a lot more open to infections, via eating infected food or inhaling and swallowing viruses which are not completely destroyed
by gastric acid, due to a compromised and devastated acid level in our stomachs.

Is it all just a coincidence that Aspartame (made from the secretions of e-coli bacteria), may be designed to lower our natural immunity to infection at the same time that these same big pharma corporations behind Searl , Monsanto, and Procter & Gamble stand to make huge money on selling medicines to treat infectious illnesses?
