Well, this is ironic. Moments after criticizing President Obama as "charasmatic guy with a teleprompter" at the National Tea Party convention tonight, Sarah Palin sat down for a Q&A session—and appeared to read notes written on her hand.

Do you see what we see? Did this woman seriously write notes on her hand to assist in the answering of questions she was given in advance? And did she do so minutes after criticizing the President for being fond of his teleprompter? *FACEPALM*

And for good measure, here's a video (of a photo, it seems) in which you can clearly see something on Palin's hand during her speech. So, unless she randomly got a henna tattoo in Nashville, it would appear that Palin went the old school cheat sheet route.

Cheating in the worst way possible... going rogue, indeed.

Update: Via HuffPo, here's confirmation of what we all feared.

It looks like the words Palin has written on her hand are:

"Energy"
"Budget (cut?)"
"Tax"
"Lift American spirits"

This is just straight up EMBARRASSING.

That doesn't even make sense! Why write on her hand when she could have just brought notes. Most speakers carry some notes for reference. If this is true then its a very very sad truth.

She would not need to write notes on her hand if she had 2 teleprompters with her at all times like Obama. he even brings his teleprompters into elementary schools. This past year Obama has proven why he is not qualified to be president. He is way our of his pay grade.

I think all campaigns should be publicly funded and only candidates who pass stringent civil service and broad knowledge exams and who have clean criminal records should be allowed to run. All candidates would get exactly the same media time. No candidate would be allowed to "buy" ads, distribute information about another candidate or accept corporate funds.

Things like this would eliminate the unqualified and those who somehow tripped backwards into the position of candidate.
