Todd Beamer 9/11 Victim: Wrong Photo Date in Rome!

Conclusive evidence that Lisa Beamer lied concerning the whereabouts of Todd in Rome, Italy on September 8 & 9th, 2001.

According to Lisa Beamer's account in her book Let's roll!, she and husband Todd visited the Forum Romano in Rome on September 9, 2001.

On Sunday (i.e., September 9) Todd and I viewed the ruins around Rome, including the Colosseum, the ancient Roman amphitheater where many early Christians were slaughtered by lions or gladiators.

Note: the Colosseum and the Forum (i.e., the "ruins") are next to one another.

Lisa Beamer stated they visited Florence, Italy on September 8, 2001.

The photo caption and digital camera date below from Let's roll! shows Todd at the Forum Romano on September 8.

Why did Lisa Beamer lie about their whereabouts on September 8 & 9?

Photo shows the columns from the Temple of Saturn at the Forum Romano, Rome in the background. There is no evidence of Todd being photoshopped into the photo.

Has the Digital Camera Date been Photoshopped?

Note the spacing between the "9" and "8". The spacing seems to be too much. Were the date numbers photoshopped? And if yes, why?

Time Photo Was Taken

Using Google Earth and the Sunrays program I calculated the sun position on September 8, 2001. Based on the shadows of the columns of the Temple of Saturn, the photo time is about 12:00 noon -- assuming this photo was actually taken on that date.

The sun/shadow angle analysis below shows with the blue line the angle of the sun at 12:00 noon; the yellow circle with arrow shows where the photo was taken and direction of the photo shot.

Note: I've been to the Forum at this exact location more than once and know the area.

Did Lisa Beamer Make a Mistake?

Debunkers could claim that Lisa got her dates mixed up AND the photo has the wrong date, by one day. It is very unlikely that BOTH her account and the digital photo date are wrong.

According to Lisa Beamer:

On Sunday September 9 there was a black tie dinner hosted by Oracle (Todd's employer). The Rome trip was supposedly organized for approximately 500 Oracle employees and their spouses.

The distance from Rome to Florence is 175 miles (285 km). Travel time by car is three hours; four hours by train. Round trip Rome - Florence - Rome is a minimum of six hours, without sight seeing.. (Note: I have traveled from Rome to Florence.)

It would be difficult to travel from Rome to Florence, see the sights, have lunch, and return in time for a black tie dinner, which usually starts at 6 - 7:00 PM.

Therefore, her account that they visited Florence on Saturday September 8 would make sense. And, visiting the Forum in Rome on Sunday September 9 would also make sense since they had a black tie dinner that night and would depart on Monday September 10 at 4:30 AM from Rome airport. However, the photo and caption shows Todd at the Forum on September 8.

Why did Lisa Beamer lie about their whereabouts on September 8 & 9? The caption and photo shows Todd in Rome on Saturday September 8 at about noon. They did not go to Florence on September 8 - they were in Rome. Where was Todd on Sunday September 9?

The Surgeon, as always, has done his homework and left no room for argument. The Sun is quite regular and predictable.

Lisa Beamer lied.

When one considers the fact that she had a "ghost writer", Ken Abraham, it makes it even more difficult to believe it was an honest mistake. When one considers Ken Abraham has ghost written more than one 911 family's book it becomes even more suspicious.

This is some excellent, irrefutable evidence.

Additional Proof Todd's Photo is Genuine

One member here was not convinced Todd's photo is genuine -- namely that the photo angle was not possible. I was able to find a photo with the exact same angle. Here is the comparison.

Through his left sunglasses' lens you can see the arm of the glasses and some detail of the Temple.

The white line on his left lens is a reflection.

Digital Camera Date

But, I still have a problem with the digital camera date. THAT looks photo shopped.

Note the spacing between the "9" and "8". The spacing seems to be too much. Were the date numbers photo shopped? And if yes, why?

Why are the columns in the reflection different to the columns in the background - or are they from over to where TB is looking?

Answer from The Surgeon: the two dark bands you see in the left lens are the bands from column #4 on the face of the Temple, as counted from the left.

Oracle employee Jonathan Oomrigar & Todd Beamer

Thanks to Oxford82 at CBS 21 for this analysis. I have Lisa Beamer's book Let's roll! and confirm these points.

In this thread it shows Todd called Jonathon Oomrigar at about 3:30 AM California time.

I was at the same Oracle dinner in Rome the night of September 9, 2001 and saw Todd and Lisa Beamer there. My spouse worked with Todd and we spoke with them that night.
